Associate Professor, North Carolina State University, USA
Recipient of the NSF CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation and the EERI Shah Family Innovation Prize from the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Seismological Society of America and is a member of the US National Seismic Hazard Model Ground-Motion Review Panel.

The seminar will address the role of seismic Waves attenuation in ground-motion characterization and modeling, highlighting new strategies to integrate geotechnical and seismological data into site response analysis and physics-based simulations.
